This passion began when I was 8 months and began to speak my first words in which I say father, mother, and-goal from that moment began my passion for this sport because I was born to play soccer, but my father he never played soccer I think this feeling is inherited from my paternal grandfather because he was passionate about the sport and this passion was a factor in his death when my father was 8 years old. I think if he were alive so far I would be his main fan and my coach but life gave us the opportunity to share that we love.
My parents arranged my first birthday party with my colleagues in the nursery and my grandmother gave me my first soccer ball with a sentimental value for me great but I do not remember. When I reviewed the photos of those moments I'm glad but time passes quickly and I enter the garden where I learned new things from which to learn to work together because we had activities that we needed to do the right thing. I could not enjoy the garden and all because I fell on the steps of my house and I hurt his leg with an iron and I had to be at home resting, but this accident does not keep me from playing soccer, I started school and first grade, I liked being in the position of goalkeeper and so far performance that role because I think a very responsible position and take risks because it is the position that everyone hates but I found this place one way to learn about the life but I do not seem anything about soccer to life taught me many good things that helped me grow as a person and improve my skills.
My first tournament with my teacher named Juan Muñoz who trusted my abilities to play soccer and I invite you to participate in a tournament at the ferroviaria neighborhood in southern Quito. I won the championship as this is a special moment for me because it was the first championship won out of school because I used to win several tournaments in school. I played in my neighborhood with my friends who were older to me. I left my home in the afternoon and arrived at night so my parents scolded me because I was late but this is my passion and in the street. I learned many things about soccer and my neighborhood friends were my example to be better.
I wanted to be part of the national soccer team at my school but I could not train because he was very young and I did not know go home by bus and I missed the best opportunity of my life to win the school championship, but this taught me to not give up and continue training with greater strength to become the best. at school my first day of school was the best time to demonstrate all the skills in goal and from then on. I was known throughout the school because most kids do not like to be goalkeeper for fear of being hit but not hard in the championships there was rivalry between them because each of the courses were excellent players and I asked myself different goals and motivational phrases like "I am not here to compete but I win to be champion” if it was considered a second failure, this situations taught me to always be a winner and this is not forgotten until now but I have to be the best in soccer but in all activities.
One day I was talking to a guy and he told me that her son played on a Club named Equinoccio and he invited me to watch a game because I could get into that team that weekend. I attended the game as a spectator. I could become a member of that team because the team was 4 years old and they had founded talented players after the game but I talk to the coach told me. I could be in the reserve team, I accept the proposal without think twice, I do not know anything about that team and went to my first game but we lost but I was motivated because I wanted to be on the primary team, three months later I integrated the first team because we had to participate in a tournament representing Quito. I always thought this was my chance to be the main goalkeeper of the team but the coach had confidence in the other goalkeeper but I was struggling the most in all training to outdo the other. I could never play a game in this tournament because it was new and the coach still confident in my abilities so I had to wait for an opportunity.
When I had the opportunity to play and prove. I was better than the other goalkeeper. I take this opportunity because it was the only one and I started to earn the confidence of the coach because I had good conditions was another factor that influenced the other parties lacked goalkeeper and I had the opportunity to play more matches, I remember all matches as if I played yesterday because I won several championships but the best memory of all is that I awarded as the best goalkeeper when I was 16 years old this accomplishment made me. I feel proud of all the work and time you spend becoming the best whole experience taught me that I always have to fight to be the best but I had not opportunity because when I have to be the goalkeeper doing well.
My family was the mainstay for me to be better. They always supported me and support me in everything that is soccer because they knew this is what I enjoy doing and I do it because when I play football is like I'm dreaming and I enjoy. But my dream was to be a professional soccer player and I wanted to play in the Aucas and my friends took me to prove very popular on this team in Quito at the beginning I had problems because they had trained intensively for 1 year because it was dedicated to my studies but this did not stop me to keep training I had to make great sacrifices because I left school and took the bus to go to train and came home for lunch at 7pm all this was to fulfill a dream, each week players are eliminated because there were nearly 200 children of which only would be 24, I struggled and I could become part of the elect but there were problems of negotiation between my parents and the club who wanted to have most of my pass and I did not like but my parents told me if I wanted to be a player they will do their best to become professional.
After a few days I thought about my future in the classroom and considered all the pros and cons of playing soccer or continue my studies. I took the biggest decision of my life that made me mourn but I was doing the right thing because I decided to quit professional soccer player to secure a promising future in the study.
The soccer for my life is important to learn new things. I learned to work together because it is better if we all work well to meeting the target. I learned to not always lose because I can win in soccer. I understood that the losses make stronger and I reason to be better another important factor is that soccer helps. You meet new people from all social classes and races.
“My life is not the same without soccer”
